It’s not been a great week for travel and transport from the UK. The Guardian reports that there will be a full investigation of the train breakdowns that brought Eurostar to a halt for three days.
And the Scottish air carrier Flyglobspan have gone bust — with RyanAir jumping on the bandwagon to offer rescue packages to those affected.
At least the British Airways cabin-crew strike has been called off. BA won a high-court injunction that ruled the strikes would be against the law.
